Hair I LOVE

I have a hair appointment next week and I have the urge to "change it up" again.  I cut my long hair every few years and then re-grow it but right now I am digging the current chin length.  So, my options are bangs, or bangs.  I am not going shorter, I will save the "Carl" short-hair version of myself for another post.
So here are some pictures of bangs I like.  I realize that these women DO NOT look like me, but I really like their hair and may have to give it a try!  My biggest decision will be...should I have side swept bangs (less commitment) or the whole sha-bang of full bangs!
The polls are now open!  Thoughts??

Popin Comforter

There has to be a rule somewhere that you need to invest in new bedding every few years.  While I have the same old duvet and sheet set on my bed since I think going on 8-9 years, its time to m-o-v-e on.  Lordy!  How has this happened??
I found these amazing, colorful comforters at my favorite store, Anthropologie.  I just have to get one!!  Beautiful, modern, colorful, goes with any/all decor.....it would seriously make my bed pop!  I just love, love these!! Super soft too.

Gila Bedding, Queen, $228 - Not a bad price?? Though not free either. Sigh.

Rad Nails

How cool is bright yellow nail polish? Neon in any color, is a big trend this spring, and nail polish would be a fun way to be part of it without breaking the bank. The other day I noticed neon yellow toes peeking out from sandals and it looked so cool. Would you go for it?

    Wowza - Kids cost alot!

Who knew that raising your tiny little baby would cost so much??!!
According to the Department of Agriculture, the cost of raising a child has increased by 25% in the last 10 years due to rising cost of groceries and medical costs.
The government's most recent annual report reveals a middle-income family with a child born in 2010 can expect to spend roughly $227,000 for food, shelter and other expenses necessary to raise that child - $287,000 when you factor in projected inflation.
And, get this....... the bill does not include the cost of college!!!!
"If you sat down to tally up the total cost of having children, you'd never have them," says Timothy Knotts, a father of four and a certified financial planner with The Hogan-Knotts Financial Group in Red Bank N.J. "It's a very expensive adventure."

    Peanut Butter

Two Univ. of Oregon gals started Wild Squirrel Nut Butter Company   (http://shop.wildsquirrelnutbutter.com/pages/about-us) one day when they ran out of Skippy.  They added coconut, coffee, cinnamon, honey....all the good stuff in a blender and introduced it to their friends.  The clever idea was a huge hit on campus.... and the company was born.
Peanut butter flavors include chocolate sunflower seed, vanilla espresso, chocolate coconut, honey pretzel and cinnamon raisin.
Sold at Zupans in Portland, I cant wait to give them all a try.

    Sea Urchin Spine Earrings

I am always amazed at the new and different things people can make into jewelry.  My last post was about bike tire jewelry and today I found the coolest sea urchin earrings.  The earrings can be found at Of A Kind, http://www.ofakind.com/editions/548-OCEAN-QUILL-STUDS for $125.
These these earrings have a certain daintiness, due in large part to their source material. They’re constructed from sea urchin spines, which naturally possess a fancy eggplant-and-cream striped pattern, and they’re topped with the tiniest silver caps. Course, since they come from nature, each pair is completely unique. Yup, pretty!!!!
